Add ligament properties

I am adding ligament in the model and it has muscle properties. I have the equation that describes viscoelastic property of ligament. I was wondering if there is easier way to incorporate this equation without touching the source code

I am working on the same thing right now and I don't know another way (except of editing source code).

I see you have posted 2 months ago so, have you found any other solution yet?
