Issues with opening UE Dynamic Model

Post by Mathew Varre » Fri Jul 25, 2014 3:51 pm

Hello All,

I am having an issue with opening the new upper extremity model (MoBL_ARMS_Upper_Limb_OpenSim.osim).

It pops out the following error message

"Could not construct a model from C:\OpenSim 3.2\Models\OpenSim Model\MoBL_ARMS_Upper_Limb_Model_OpenSim.osim. Possible reasons: syntax error or unsupported format.

Details: MovingPathPoint:: Components of the same path point must depend on same the coordinate. Condition: x_coordinate == y_coordinate == z_coordinate FAILED"

Could you please let me know how to be able to fix this?

Thank you for your help.

Regards
Mathew Varre

Hi Mathew,

From the message it looks like there is an issue with the models path-point implementation definition for 3.2.

According to the project page for the model, it has only been tested up to 3.1

I would suggest asking the authors, through their project page forum, where the issue may be and perhaps switch to 3.1 in the meantime.

Cheers,
-james

Hi James,

Thank you for your response. I checked and it opens with v3.1. I was not able to post to the project page forum as it is not open to public or not setup yet perhaps.

Regards
Mathew
