Marker size

Hi,

Just wondering how important it is to have the correct marker size specified in the GUI. I am using 14mm markers, and I believe the default value for OpenSim is 1.0. Is this in cm or just an arbitrary number? Does it refer to the radius or diameter?

Hi Katie,

'Experimental Marker Size' and 'Marker Display Radius' are for display purposes. IK will track a point specified. Your Mocap system needs the marker size to calculate the centroid of a sphere. OpenSim just requires that point.
