CMC warning

Post by Mahdi Hassan » Fri Jun 19, 2015 3:00 pm

Hello!

I build a full body model by using both Samuel Hamner model (Muscle-actuated Simulation of Human Running) and Upper and Lower Body Model. I am trying to run CMC. I came to run CMC. But, only for Pectoralis muscles I got a warning in CMC which is CMC::controls warning-small force range for PECTM1_l (193.804 to 173.632). The range of the force of this muscle is too high. Could anyone please give me any solution.

Thank you

Hassan

Hello!

I'm getting this error all the time, Ayman from OpenSim group have written in one post (I dont know wright now in which) that this report is some kind of error and we shouln't worry about that.
I think that you should check out the forces from Actuation_force.sto file that you obtain after CMC simulation.

Emil Walczak !

Thank you for your reply. I checked force.sto file after running simulation. But, the force values in some point is 80000. Which seems not correct.

However, do you know how can I lengthen or shorten a muscle?

Regards,
Hassan
