attachments coordinate during motion

Post by yu lu » Wed Sep 02, 2015 1:05 am

Hello all,

Anybody know about getting the attachments coordinate (of ligaments) during a motion?

I understand it can be done manually with GUI at each position,
though I would like to automatically obtain a series of attachment points within local femur coordinate.

any idea is welcome!
thank you in advance!

Hi Yulu,

The attachment point of a ligament does not change during a motion.

Are you trying to find that attachment point with respect to the ground? If so you will have to perform a point kinematics analysis

Cheers,
