Inverse Dynamics reference point

Post by Zheqi Hu » Tue Oct 11, 2016 1:46 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to use OpenSim to calculate the joint moments. After calculation, the results of moments are not similar as predicted. It should be caused by different reference points in two softwares. So what is the reference point used in OpenSim inverse dynamics calculation? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you! :D

Differences between model estimates are primarily due to different coordinate system definitions. If you want exact results between two systems, you will have to build your models with exactly the same coordinate definitions and locations.
