Hi
I'm trying to evaluate OpenSim. I'm having problem in the visualization of muscles. All the examples appear as if the muscles are a 'big' red circle! I think it can be a problem with the drivers for rendering or anything similar. Do you have other clues?
System
Pentium D CPU 3.40GHz
2GB RAM
Windows XP Professional SP2
NVIDIA GeForce 6500

RE: Problem viewing muscles in examples
Hi Guilherme:
The solution is somewhere in the forum, you need to change the properties of muscles visualization in
Edit -> Preferences -> Muscle Display Radius
a 0,005 value think will do ok.
Regards
Pablo.

Hi, Pablo!
thank you so much for your help. I checked up your hint and found out that Muscle Display Radius parameter was already set to 0,005 value. I also tested with different values without seeing differences in the visualization. Do you have another clue?
Thank you again

Hi,
The problem you're seeing is due to localization (running OpenSim on a machine with non-english locale) which causes preferences similar to marker and muscle display size to be incorrectly parsed.
You can:
1. Change locale to English. Or
2. Edit/Preferences and change the display radius/size of markers and muscles to use "." instead of "," for decimal point.
Good luck,
-Ayman

Exactly, Ayman
I had to change the characters in Preferences from "." to ",", following my locale patterns.
Thanks to all
