Using RRA with a Exoskeleton

Post by Kaique de Oliveira » Mon Nov 27, 2017 10:38 am

Hi all.

I'm trying to model and simulate a lower limb exo to study the muscles behavior with the enhanced mass and movement limitations. I'm altering the RRA_Actuators file from Gait2396 model. Should I create new actuators for the generalized coordinates of the exo parts? (even if there's no real physical actuation on them).

This is all dependent on how you want to model your device. You could just alter the reserve actuators that are already on the model. The methods used in this paper are probably what you are after.

Hi

I had done RRA and this process output many file. Which once of all was the _pErr.sto file .This file was the different joint angle errors between coordinate virtual marker of generic model with coordinate experimental trial, right? and can I used it to RMS step for evaluate RRA results. Please give me more advice.

Thank you
