Problem of Imputing Motion Data

Post by Zheqi Hu » Thu Jan 04, 2018 10:55 am

Now I am trying to use IK tool to calculate joint kinematics. After loading the motion data (marker), the motion went wrong. The experimental data has been previewed in OpenSim before inverse kinematics, and everything seems fine. What is more, during model scaling progress, the marker data cannot drive the static pose correctly either.

What causes could lead this problem? Any advice would be helpful.

Hi,

It can be a bad correspondence between the virtual and measured markers. In the second tab of the scale tool you can see the scaling factors and pinpoint the scaling problem.

Best
