an issue with the GUI toggle bar

Post by Atefeh Razavi » Wed Mar 28, 2018 1:16 pm

Toggle bar does not show up on the display window if the images are saved as "vti" and the images are displayed with maximum contrast and brightness for which there is no setting. I reinstalled the software and it didn't change. "preferences" settings were similar to other workstations that don't have this issue.
I was wondering if there is any option to activate the toggle bar once it disappears.

Hi Atefeh,

Thanks for the post. What toggle bar are you referring to? Can you post an image to help explain.

Thanks!

Hi Adam,

The toggle bar for brightness-contrast adjustments.

Thank you!

Hi Atefeh,

What operating system are you using?

And you are saying that the slider for brightness and contrast was there at one point and now it is gone?

Thanks!

Windows 10.
When I first create the project and import DICOM images (and save them as vti), it exists. one I close the program and reopen it, it is not there anymore.
There is no issue if I don't save them primarily as vti but I have some models that have been saved as"vti" previously and I just want to start simulation on them without creating them from the scratch.

Thank you!

Hi Atefeh,

This sounds very odd. We will need to look into it and try to reproduce it on our end. Have you tried not importing into the project as .vti? For now, you could just leave as a DICOM series and load that if that allows you to have the contrast slider.

Thanks!

Hi Adam,

Thanks for the answer. There is no issue if they are loaded as DICOM images. In this case, the models need to be remade.
I am using the software on another workstation with no problem but for two systems in our lab, there is this issue.

Thanks again!

Hi Atefeh,

I'm confused by your comment about needing to remake the models. You can save paths, segmentations, and models, and you should not need to remake a model every time you use the software. If you are having trouble saving things, let us know.

Thanks!

Hi Adam,
I mean it is not possible to make revisions on a model.
As I said I have some models made previously and I want to check and revise them. However it is not possible because when I open the project,
image is showing up with the highest contrast with no toggle bar.

Thank you,
Atefeh
