convert result and Postprocessing

Post by Wonseok Heo » Thu Apr 12, 2018 8:02 pm

Dear

I am trying to get flow and pressure field of the abdominal aorta.
And also I am using Gateway cluster to simulate my case.
Here is the thing,
When I convert the output file from Gateway supercomputer,
I select result Dir with Simulations/simulation under my project folder
However, during converting results, the message is shown up such as "svpost-bin.exe has stopped working / A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program. / -> Close the program"
I press the close the program button, then the SimVascular tells me "Results converting finished."
And I get 0 to 200 all_results.vtu and .vtp plus four text document file such as averages, averages-from_cm-to-mmHg, flows, pressures.
Even though I got these converted result files, I couldn't see the flow and pressure fields using ParaView.
I can only see 3D model with mesh that I created using SimVascular.

Is it correct way to get converted result?
If it is correct, I have another problems below.

I am stuck with "increasing time step" when I follow the tutorial from your website.
When I increase the step from 0 to 19 ( in my case, 19 is the maximum), I couldn't find the pressure and velocity from my model.
When I leave with 0 step, I cannot see "timeDeriv, traction, WSS", furthermore the results don't show the contour map even if I control the scale.
The questions are that how I can switch the pressure scale to HHmg from dyn/cm^2 and get clear contour map.

I hope you to help me soon!
I appreciate it in advance.

You can try to convert the last restart files only and see if you have any pressure and velocity in the vtu file.
You can switch pressure units in paraview using the calculator.
