.vtp to .stl conversion

Post by Taehak Kang » Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:26 am

Hello,

For few days, I tried to export model files to simulate it in other CAD softwares. I created OpenCascade version of my model and exported, but the file extension is .brep which cannot be opened in Solidworks, etc. In the conversion option there are .brep, .step, .iges, and .stl, but SimVascular seems to create .brep version only. Is there any ways to export the model in other file extensions?

Kind thanks,

Taehak

Hi Taehak,

If you give the filename the extension .step or .iges, it should write that file type. I just tested and that worked for me. Let me know if that doesn't work.

Thanks!
