hello all
I have a question about scaling.I don not have .trc file,so I use manual scaling.But IK also need .trc file,what should I do?or is it necessary to run IK.My goal is to have a cerebral palsy patient's model so I can analyze the surgery effect.How can I get the patient's model?eg.scaling,IK,RRA and CMC?
If you know the answer,please tell me.Thank you very much.

Hi,
The reason you use IK or any other tools is to reproduce motion capture data that you collected already, if you have no data to reproduce or compare against it's not clear what are you trying to accomplish with OpenSim. Having any model is not a measurable goal by itself. How are you going to validate the model?

I want to simulate a tendon transfer surgery.We collaborate with a hospital,so I want to get a patient model firstly.But I do not have VICON,I just have some devices which can get joint angle.Now I plan to do manual scaling and add motion file.I want to know what should I do if I want to get a more individual model.(Note:I do not have .trc file)
Another question:I want to know what MATLAB can do for opensim and how to do.I did not find specific tutorials about this function.
