unable to associate more motion files with same model

Post by Sheeba Davis » Sat Mar 23, 2019 5:31 am

Hello

I had opened 3DGaitModel2392 and loaded motion file"normal_gait". When i tried to associate another motion file "Crouch1.mot" to this "normal_gait file", it says "cannot associate to normal_gait -- duplicate column labels encountered".

Please let me know the mistake i have done.

Why do you want to associate one motion file to another motion file? What result are you trying to achieve?

The last question in the tutorial -1 says that we can associate different motion files to the same model.

Hello,

Yes you can associate different motions to a model but you cannot associate motions to other motions. unless they are consistent/can-be-combined. Please point us to the part of the tutorial that led to the confusion so we can fix it.

Best regards,

Hello Ayman

It is the 8th question from tutorial 1. When i tried to associate different motions to the same model it happened, but when i tried to associate one motion to the other (right clicked on the first motion which gives an option to associate other motion) it didnt allow, as you said it is because there is no option to associate one motion to the other.
