Minimum requirements of the video card?

Post by Daniele Tregnaghi » Fri Oct 02, 2009 1:07 am

Does anyone know the minimum requirements of the video card to use OpenSimm.
My problem is that the muscles don't appear like are rappresented in the tutorials (red lines connected on the bones).
What should I do?
Is it a problem of settings or a problem in my pc?
Thank you.
Daniele

Hello Daniele:

It might be a problem with the region settings, you can define the muscles display in the edit>preferences, under the muscles diplay radius, try to change the , for a . or backwards the default value is .005

Regards
Pablo

Sorry but the muscle display radius is .005 yet. In View window, when I show muscles, I see the red background and some dark red thick lines without connection and not segments connected bone.
Does Nobody know why?

Hi Daniele,

As Pablo pointed out this likely is a problem due to language (localization). The forum thread below offers solutions that have worked for other users, if they don't work for you please let us know,

Good Luck,

Thank you Ayman but the problem persists, it is worse indeed. I change dot in comma but now I have an unexpected exception

Ciao Daniele,
prova ad andare nel pannello di controllo di windows e cambiare le impostazioni personali da Italiano a Inglese Stati Uniti.
In questo modo dovresti risolvere tutti i problemi di compatibilità.

Ciao
Andrea

Bene.

Hi Ayman, Daniele fix the trouble... was the international settings problem.

I apologize to write in italian... was more easy to explain (and understand) :-)
