How can we calculate the position of joint centers from the experiemental data to use them for scaling?

You can use marker pairs for joint like the knee and ankle. You can use regression equations or functional methods for the hip. Searching for 'Functional Hip Joint' in Google Scholar will give you a bunch of results you can go through.
