scaling problems--not matching!!!

Post by Jiamin Zhao » Sat Aug 03, 2019 5:42 am

Hi,all

I use one model to predict the wrist Flexion&extension angle.
After the scaling, the scaling output is shown in the first picture. And before scaling, the markers are like that in the second one.
The problem is that why the marker position is shifted in some direction. Why the markers are not at the exactly same position in the model before scaling? Will that influence the inverse kinematics results?

Any help will be greatly appretiated. Thank you very much!

Regards,
Jiamin

The scaling tool has an option to adjust the marker positions to best match the experimental marker trajectories. You can disable this by setting the Adjust Model Markers in the first tab.
