Combining Models

Post by John Hodges » Thu Oct 03, 2019 10:23 am

Hello! I am interested in combining two models because I cannot find a model that has the appropriate forces and geometries for the problem I am trying to solve. I want to combine select geometry bodies of a full body model (namely, the upper extremities) with the .osim model (meaning both the bodies, forces, and joints) used in the following publication:
Mortensen JD, Vasavada AN,Merryweather AS (2018) The inclusion of hyoid muscles improve moment generating capacity and dynamic simulations in musculoskeletal models of the head and neck. PLoS ONE 13(6): e0199912. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0199912

If anyone has suggestions on how to add bodies in the correct position so that I can create joints for the humerus and scapula, I would greatly appreciate it.
