Stokes flow

Post by mehrdad roustaei » Sun Feb 02, 2020 6:19 am

Hi,

I am trying to solve a problem in which the viscous forces are dominant and I was wondering if there is any way to eliminate the inertial terms of the NV equations to reduce the run time.

Thank you.

Best,
Mehrdad

Hi Mehrdad,

There is no way to solve for Stokes flow using svSolver.

Cheers,
Dave

Hi David,

Thank you for your response.
May I ask if I can do that using SVFSI?

Best,
Mehrdad

Hi Mehrdad,

svFSI not not support Stokes flow either. Sorry!

Cheers,
Dave
