Hello,
I have recently run a static optimization on a thoracolumbar spine model through the MatLab interface. The model outputs the static optimization forces in a NMB_StaticOptimization_force.sto file. I am now trying to use the plot tool in the GUI to plot the muscle forces from the file, as there are hundreds of individual muscles in the model and the GUI provides easy access to muscle groups and singular muscles. However, when trying to plot the muscle tensions the plot does not display any data for a muscle. I have opened the .sto file and found that there is data for each muscle, but it is not being plotted in the tool. How might I fix this problem?
Thanks,
Aaron

Re: Plot Tool not Displaying Information After Static Optimization
Hi Aaron,
The plot tool operates in multiple modes, if plotting data from a file please make sure you select the file as a source, (rather than using the built in tools to plot quantities related to muscles in a model). If you selected a file as source, the file contains data and the data is not shown in the plotter window then please file a bug and attach the file or try to attach it here if not too big and we'll take a look. Please indicate what version of the software was used to create the file and to plot.
Best regards,
-Ayman

Hi Aaron,
The file you sent is .xslx format so can't be opened by the plot tool, maybe you intended to send a .sto file instead.

Yes, I have been using the .sto file format but cannot attach the .sto file on the forum. I will submit a bug as you mentioned earlier unless there is a way to post the .sto file on the forum.

Hello,
Header is inconsistent with data (nRows=1) while the file has 11 rows. Fixing the header by hand fixes the problem.
Best regards,
