ID and CMC

Post by Hang Xu » Mon Jan 25, 2010 10:17 am

Hi,
when I try to use ID tool, the result file is all 1.#QNAN000000000000000, what does it mean and how can I fix this problem.
I noticed that some guys asked the same question, but I confused where and how to modify parameters.

by the way, where can I find the instruction about how to use the CMC, Because OpenSimUserGuide did not mention about GUI for CMC.
Thank you very much!

Hang,

The very likely culprit for this would be the lack of mass properties. You need those to do dynamics.

This error arises though in other scenarios as well (e.g. when external forces are applied incorrectly which leads to infinite acceleration somewhere in the model).

Hope this helps,
