Hi all,
I am doing a research project with the thoracoscapular shoulder model created by Seth et al. (2019). I had the model working on my Macbook but since I updated to Catalina, I am encountering some issues. I am able to load the plugin, but then it cannot find the geometry files associated with the model (warnings appear in the messages window). It is only loading the muscles and not the bodies. I have added the path to the model's geometry in Edit Preferences, but that doesn't help. I also made sure that OpenSim has access to my Documents folder.
In addation, when I try to load one of the standard OpenSim models after adding the geometry path of the thoracoscapular shoulder model, it is also only showing the muscles and not the bodies (while it did the bodies before adding the geometry path).
Does someone have any idea to fix this?

Re: Problems with loading geometry files
Hello,
My guess would be that the path specification for the 'Geometry Search Path' is either incorrect, has a typo, or contains special characters that causes problems downstream. If you place the Geometry folder under the model file then the search path would not need to be used, alternatively you can copy the Geometry folder to another folder that has no special characters or spaces and retry.
Please let us know how that goes,
-Ayman

Re: Problems with loading geometry files
Hello Ayman,
Thanks for your reply! I placed the Geometry folder directly under my Documents folder and now it works. I don't see why it didn't work before since the path to the old folder did not contain any special characters or spaces. But I am glad it works now!
Thank you!
