Hello,
I created a model in OpenSim 4.1 but I need to use it in OpenSim 3 because I want to run an optimization in SCONE. I got an error message in version 3 saying that: Invalid body (Unassigned) specified in contact geometry platform. Is there any restriction in OpenSim 3 compared with OpenSim 4.1 that can give me this error?.
KR.

Re: Change OpenSim version model
Hi Araceli,
This issue is better addressed to Scone developers rather than OpenSim (whether OpenSim 4 is supported). In general you should expect more recent versions to have new abstractions/features that were not available or supported by earlier versions. We try to maintain backward compatibility whenever possible (you can open models from version 2.4+ in version 4.1) but it is much harder and rather unnecessary to maintain forward compatibility. If you can recreate the model in OpenSim 3 and keep it in this format all the time (you don't save or modify it in version 4.1+) then you can use the model in Scone and OpenSim.
Hope this helps,
