OpenSense

Post by Cristiana Pinheiro » Sun Sep 27, 2020 9:49 am

Good afternoon,

I am using the OpenSense for the first time. I want to run the same procedures of the example provided but with my data. In this manner, I ask to please answer me the following questions:
- Is it possible to scale the model so that the joint angles are computed according the anthropometry of the subject from who was acquired the IMU data? If yes, how?
- In the example provided, what configuration was used to place the IMUs on body? I used the following configuration for lower limbs only: https://base.xsens.com/hc/en-us/article ... nda-System . I am questioning this because, in the example, the sensors seem placed on a different position and with different orientations (opensim_snapshot - Copy.png).
- Can I change the default position and orientation of the sensors? If yes, how?
- Lastly, I am not understanding how should I configure the variable 'sensor_to_opensim_rotations'? What is the IMU Space? Each IMU is placed in a specific orientation and position being that the orientation of the axes vary between IMUs... I think that there is not an unique IMU Space...

Sorry for the list of questions.
Thank you.

Best regards,
Cristiana Pinheiro.
