How to incoporate External Ground Reaction Force Data for Inverse Dynamics of Scaled Gait2392 model

Post by Deepak Singh » Sun Oct 11, 2020 6:44 am

Hello everyone,

I would like to know how to input and incorporate an external Ground Reaction force (GRF) data file into the inverse dynamics of a scaled Gait2392 model.
I have scaled the body weight of the aforementioned model from 75.6 kg to 66 kg, 72kg, 78 kg, 84kg and 95 kg because I have the ground force (GRF) data of these body weights during walking.
Now, to perform inverse dynamics, two default files namely subject01_walk1_grf.xml and subject01_walk1_grf.mot are provided in the "Gait2392_Simbody" folder but they have the GRF data of the 72 kg body weight and even the timing of the gait events are different.
How, can I input the external GRF data for Inverse Dynamics so that It matches my scaled Gait2392 model.
Please reply as soon as possible.

Regards,
Deepak Singh
