Scaling problem with Vasavada Model

Post by Abdullah Al Masud » Thu Oct 29, 2020 4:04 pm

Hello,

I am working with Vasavada model in OpenSim 3.3. However, I am not able to scale the model as the markers were misplaced after scaling (attached figure). I have used in total of 9 markers. Please note that the model does not contain any mass. Is it a problem for scaling? I really appreciate your suggestions.

Might just be the nonzero model offset after scaling. Right-click the model name in the Navigator, hover over "Display >", and click on "Model Offset...".

Hello Mr. Uchida,

Thanks for your response. I can drag the model using model offset. However, the RMS error after scaling was too high (around 10) which means the scaling is not appropriate. Is there any other suggestion to resolve this?
