Unable to load images into Simvascular

Post by Justin Tso » Tue Feb 23, 2021 2:27 pm

Hi everyone,

I've been attempting to load some DICOM images into a new project, but I keep getting the following error:

Invalid tag values when constructing tilt information from origin1 '', origin2 '', and orientation ''
379.45 ERROR: Image adding failed!

Does anyone have any advice on how to decipher this error message and address this problem?

Hi Justin,

This problem has been previously discussed in the forum, see viewtopicPhpbb.php?f=188&t=10635&p=29757&start=0&view=.

Let me know if the fix discussed there solves your problem.

Cheers,
Dave

Hi David,

I don't think the fix described there is an option because our data were acquired as volumetric, not multislice data. Is there any other solution that's been come across for this?

Hi Justin,

The Invalid tag values error seems to indicate that these tags are missing from the DICOM files. Please upload a few files someplace I can download them I'll try to figure out what the problem is.

Cheers,
Dave
