Custom Static Optimisation Tutorial

I'm trying to complete the Custom Static Optimisation Tutorial

However, I do not know how to fill in the code in the MATLAB code included with the tutorial and there is little guidance provided.

Is there a completed copy of the code somewhere with which I can compare mine? Or something that I'm missing that would give me an idea of how to fill in the empty blocks?
