Model Graphics won't display

Post by Andrew Goodwin » Mon Aug 30, 2021 4:56 pm

When I try to open a model, everything appears normally in the navigator and coordinates menu, however the model does not appear in the graphic interface. Any ideas?

Hello,

Please provide some context so we can help you, specifically:
- Version(s) of software on the machine
- Whether OpenSim ran previously on this machine or not
- Do you get an error message? If so what does it say?

Thank you,
-Ayman

Opensim version 4.3 running on Windows 10. Used to run just fine until the last few days. No error message or anything.

Thanks for reporting, Andrew.

It would be good to know if this is model specific or not and what other changes were made to the machine (maybe windows update or other software installations that you know of). If you remove the folder of your saved user preferences (typically C:\Users\${USER}\.OpenSim\${version}) then the program should behave as if freshly installed and you may get better diagnostic/error message(s). You can inspect the log files (under the folder above after launch) for more details, or post the latest messages.log file from this folder here and we can help you investigate further.

Best regards,
-Ayman
