Individual Joints in Torso

Post by Quinten Humphrey » Mon Sep 20, 2021 10:19 am

With the current full body/upper body models, I have noticed that the body of the torso usually contains at least the thoracic vertebrae and rib cage. I was wondering if anyone else on here separated them where they become individual joints (ie. T9 joint_x, T9_joint_y, T9_joint_z (rotational/translational), etc) and how you incorporated the ribcage with the thoracic joints.

Thank you as always,
Quinten

Please see simtk site for a thoracolumbar full-body model.
