Hello everyone,
I am working on an active lower-limb prosthesis as my final project. We are looking to use OpenSim to run simulations, but we are very new to your software. Therefore, I thought I could get some help on this forum!
So, how to simulate a person walking using our prosthesis (model initially designed using SolidWorks) ?
Do we need to write some code to program the prosthesis part (actuate motors, control angles....) - if so, how to do it?
I will be grateful for your support, and it would be great if you could guide me to tutorials in this domain (if any).
Thank you

Re: Simulating an active prosthesis in OpenSim
Hello again,
After checking some tutorials (ToyDropLanding and Metabolics Cost Optimization) things are a bit better now.
But I have a question: is it possible to use scripts (python) to implement control for motors (PID control and so on)? Or to integrate a neural network in the simulations?
This is crucial for the next steps of our project.
Thank you
