Hi,
I have the static pressure waveform of blood pressure at the inflow. If I specify a Neumann BC at the inlet, can I use this static pressure as a boundary condition? Or do I need to provide the total pressure (static + dynamic)
Thanks,
Aditya
PS. This is for svFSI

Re: Pressure at the inlet
I haven't used this in svFSI but I think you can apply the static pressure waveform as a Neumann BC at the inlet. Give it a try. In case it doesn't work, prescribing the pressure waveform via coupled BC can be considered. Here is a test case for a more complex closed-loop LPM. https://github.com/SimVascular/svFSI-Te ... losed-loop

Re: Pressure at the inlet
svFSI takes only static pressure as the Neumann boundary condition and not dynamic pressure. You can output total pressure as one of the output quantities if you are interested.
