Dear all
Hi, I'm SV program user. I want to make a 3D saccular aneurysm in bifurcation, but SV program doesn't seem to have that tool (like a make sphere) and there are limits to doing it that only use segmentation.
Is there any effective way to make bifurcation aneurysm? if not, it is good to have an example such as repository or another case
Thanks for reading.

Re: to create bifurcation aneurysm
Hi Sangwon,
One way to create an aneurysm model is to union a sphere with a model of a bifurcation. I wrote an SV Python script here https://github.com/SimVascular/SimVascu ... neurysm.py to do that.
You can smooth the model a bit using the SV Modeling Tool Global Ops / WS SMooth option. Here's the model after meshing.
Note that we are working on a tool to interactively create different disease-related geometries. I'm not sure when that will be released.
Cheers,
Dave
