Can I constrian the activation in SO

Post by marco xu » Sat Aug 06, 2022 1:03 am

Dear experts:
I'm currently working on static optimization function, I would like to know if it's possible that I can add some constraints on the muscles according to the normalized sEMG(like CMC can do)?
Thank you so much for your reply!
Regard,
Marco

Hi Marco,

As it stands Static Optimization does not support placing constraints on muscle activations. You can explore other tools available in OpenSim (e.g. Moco ) that allows for more flexibility in imposing such constraints.

Hope this helps,
