Hello:
I want to simulate my coronary project using the ROMsimulations, but I'm confused by the Wall Properties from the ROMsimulations.
1.Why the Simulation in 3D using the rigidwall boundary condition?
2.What's the difference of the LINEAR an OLUFSEN model?
3.The K1 K2 K3 and PRESSURE of OLUFSEN in the large vessel is 2.0e7 -22.5267 8.65e5 and 113324.0,
what should I do to change the value to fit my coronary wall?
Thanks,
Yan

Hello Yan,
1.Why the Simulation in 3D using the rigidwall boundary condition?
Which 3D simulation are you referring to?
2.What's the difference of the LINEAR an OLUFSEN model?
Have a look at the SV documentation here http://simvascular.github.io/docsROMSimulation.html.
3.The K1 K2 K3 and PRESSURE of OLUFSEN in the large vessel is 2.0e7 -22.5267 8.65e5 and 113324.0,
what should I do to change the value to fit my coronary wall?
You might could look in the literature to see what parameters other researchers use.
The 1D solver test here https://github.com/SimVascular/svOneDSo ... oronary.in uses the same parameters.
Cheers,
Dave

Re: Some questions about Wall Properties from ROMsimulations
Hi Dave:
Thank you for your reply.
1.Which 3D simulation are you referring to?
It is the 3D coronary simulation, as the coronary normal project, the wall properties is rigid. Is that because I can ignore the wall deformation when I run the 3D coronary simulation, while the 1D coronary simulation the wall deformation can not be ignored?
2and3 I have work out the two problems with your advice.
Thanks,
Yan

Re: Some questions about Wall Properties from ROMsimulations
Hi Yan,
The Coronary Normal Test Case just used a rigid wall to simplify the simulation. If you know the wall properties then you can use the svSolver Deformable Wall option or use svFSI.
Cheers,
Dave
