OpenSim versus Visual 3D Inverse Kinematics

Post by Matthew Prebble » Sun Nov 27, 2022 7:12 pm

Visual 3D has a process that outputs data into OpenSim compatible files. https://www.c-motion.com/v3dwiki/index. ... enSim_Demo

I was wondering if anyone is aware of any research that compared the outputs of the Visual 3D inverse kinematic results with the results from running inverse kinematics through OpenSim?

I have used this approach to process data from walking trials and have not been able to find any literature that discusses limitations or concerns with using the Visual 3D files generated for further analysis in OpenSim.
