configureMoco.m

Post by Robert Catena » Tue Dec 20, 2022 7:04 pm

I am attempting to start the Moco tutorial https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8 ... t-to-stand, but I can even get the "Prepare your environment" step to work. I tried to set the path as seen in the picture attached. I also tried other variations on this (e.g. without the <, without the ; ). Nothing working. In fact, now that I started messing around with the path, I can no longer even see my other path options when I select edit.

Any ideas on how to properly setup AND how to revert back to being able to see my other path options when I try to edit the path?

Hello Robert,

Are you using one of the more recent versions of OpenSim 4.3/4.4? As those versions already come with Moco, you just need to run the configureOpenSim.m Matlab file and it should add OpenSim to the necessary path - https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8 ... ith+Matlab

Hope that helps!

Nicos

Yes I am running 4.4. That was not clear in the tutorial that moco is already configured if running 4.4. It still says in the tutorial that preparing the environment is a needed step because "Moco is currently a separate software package from OpenSim"

Thanks Nicos
