generate a .sto file for the IMU placer tool

Hi, my question is related to learn how to use the IMU placer tool in opensim.
so, I already read the documentation and I understand that I need a orientation .sto file
I have a excel file with the orientation data of the sensors that I want to put in the opensim model with the tool but I dont know how to pass these data to an .sto file. can you help me, please?
as long as I read about the extension, is an opensim extension and I dont know how to generate an .sto file outside opensim.
