iSen IMU to OpenSim

Post by Davis Suarez » Wed Aug 30, 2023 4:20 pm

When I export the quaternions of the Sen sensors, a csv is generated for each sensor. After synchronizing the quaternians of the different sensors through interpolations, I import the quaternions into OpenSim. In the Placer IMU, I use a -90 degrees rotation on the X axis, and align the torso IMU with the X axis of the model. I use this configuration because it is the one that best shows the results of the IK, which is of a person who is standing and bends down to lift a box. However, only part of the OpenSim simulation matches that of the iSen software itself. For example, in OpenSim the feet "float" when the person bends down to pick up the box, which is not correct.
I appreciate any suggestion to improve the IMU Placer and the results of the IK.
