Issue - long calibration time

Post by Shahril Iskandar » Sun Sep 17, 2023 8:26 pm

I have few issues:
1) During camera calibration using the checkerboard, there was not an option for me to verify the axis were correct (as shown in your tutorial). The web app immediately went to proceed to ask for neutral pose. Can I assume that the axis was correct then?

I uploaded a screencast of this. Timestamp where camera calibration went straight to neutral pose calibration: 00:28 - 00:31.
Video: https://youtu.be/7uJI8WH-aM0

2) I can never get pass the neutral pose calibration as the processing time took awfully long. I've waiting up to 20 mins and it was still processing (Also shown in the screencast, where it was on the same page for ~4 mins). Am I right to say that it should not be taking this long?
I've tried checking the network speed and both devices had >100mbps upload speed.
If it helps, I've also attached photos of the setup: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

Hence, I am not sure what else can be done. For context, I am using 2 different iOS devices, i) iPad 9th gen, ii) iPhone 13. Could it be due to different iOS devices being used?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey,

1) This step has been automated. It is normal not to see the axes anymore.

2) It should only take a couple of minutes. I had a look, and it looks like one of your phone disconnected. As a result, only one video got uploaded.

Best,
Antoine

Hi Antoine,

Ah, I see. We'll try and see what we can do with the network connectivity then.
Thanks for checking.

There was a problem with the app. Please update the OpenCap ios app to 1.6(29) in Testflight and report back if you are still having issues.
