Hi,
Recently I found that there is a new OpenSim beta version as OpenSim-2.1.0_b6.
And I could also find that this new version supports K12.
So I'd like to ask of you what the K12 function is. Is it a new functionality of OpenSim?
Best regards,
Moonki

RE: Question about new beta version of OpenSim
Hi Moonki,
Beta versions are used to introduce new features, and primarily for internal use but users are welcome to get them and use them at their own risk, and hopefully provide feedback. They pass all internal and nightly testing before posting.
In this specific case the GUI has added features to support enabling/disabling forces and constraints, finer control of display color/texture of bodies and the beginning of features to build custom xml-driven GUI for tutorials planned for kids in grades K-12.
Hope this explains,
-Ayman
