Meaning of motion quantity

Post by Federica Lupo » Wed Dec 20, 2023 3:23 pm

Hi,
I am struggling in finding the meaning of some coordinates like pelvis_tilt, sh_el and so on. I am referring to the features that it is possible to plot after having applied the inverse kinematics.
So, we start from the motion file, we go to plot section, coordinates, and we can find a series of different measurements, that are likely angles. The question is, is it possible to find a documentation in which there is a clear description of this computation?

Thank you!

Descriptions of a model's coordinates can typically be found in a publication (see the "publications" tag at the top of the osim file). Information about some popular models can be found on the "Musculoskeletal Models" page in the documentation (https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8 ... tal+Models). "sh_el" might be shoulder elevation.
