New project for OpenCap, which is a new software package to estimate 3D human movement dynamics from smartphone videos. OpenCap strongly relies on OpenSim.

data collection length

Hello,

We have been using OpenCap for a couple of research projects and would like to continue, but the limit of data collection length to 60 (at 60hz) and 30 (at 120hz) seconds is a major limitation to fully capturing some functional tasks. Is there any workaround available for this limited time of collection for research projects?

There is not, unfortunately. It has to do with file sizes for upload and sharing computational resources. You could set up 2 capture volumes, alternate recording, and stitch the trials together later.
