Exporting Marker Motion Data

Hi, I have the Hamner running model and the location data of the markers which is essentially what I need, however, if possible I would like to move the markers inside OpenSim and then export the motion data again. I have tried saving the motion data, exporting the location data, and many other things, all after moving the markers themselves on the model, however the location data of the markers always came out the same as the data from the original motion file. Do you know a way to move the markers on the body and then export the motion data?
