model analysis

Post by Tim Dorn » Thu Apr 30, 2009 7:51 pm

Does anyone know if it is possible to create an analysis to extract modelling parameters? Let me provide an example that currently one would need to plot and extract manually:

1)extract a full set of moment arms (or moments) with respect to a set of muscles over a range of joint angles. This could potentially be a large number of plots and would take a long time to plot and save to a sto file manually. A analysis (similar to MuscleAnalysis) would be nice.

If it is not possible, it would make a great feature to speed up model analysis.

Hi Tim!

If you still need something like that I can send you some Matlab functions I wrote to Batch-Generate Analysis-setup files for a set of models and motions, runs Opensim and saves the results, and extracts the data into a Matlab structure.

Cheers R
