Markers on OpenSim 4.5

Post by Abigail Waugh » Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:34 am

I am having difficulty editing the markers on a model specifically within a knee model. Any suggestions on how to change the marker size or even edit the name of the marker?

As far as I know, the size of the marker (marker radius) cannot be changed in the GUI.

Do you have a problem changing the name of marker in the GUI? If YES :

You can change the name of marker in the Navigator (in the Navigator, select Markers> select a specific marker and change the "name" in the Properties panel).

Okay, thank you.

Do you know if there is an alternative to creating marks on the models to track location through motion?

You can also edit the model markers opening the .osim file with a text editor as Notepad++
there you can edit name, position and body to attach the markers
