Muscle path issue - MOBL_ARMS_41

Post by Kristy Godoy » Mon Aug 12, 2024 6:21 pm

Hello, everyone.
I ran into a issue with the LAT muscles in the MOBL_ARMS_41 base model.
It seems that the muscle insertion points are lost and extend beyond the bones for some shoulder_elv and elv_angle values.
Here are some combinations in which I found the muscles have the issue:

shoulder_elv at 23, elv_angle -84, Lat1 path extends beyond bone structure.

shoulder_elv at 24, elv_angle -87, Lat1 path

shoulder_elv at 25, elv_angle -88, Lat1 path

shoulder_elv at 0, elv_angle -5, Lat3 path

shoulder_elv at 2, elv_angle -10, Lat2 and Lat1 path

shoulder_elv at 2 to 11, elv_angle -10, Lat2 and Lat1

shoulder_elv at 12 to 22, elv_angle -10, Lat1 path

shoulder_elv at 0, elv_angle >-5, Lat3 path

I attached a picture to show the issue and the geometry path configuration for the three muscles.
I guess the problem is with the TMAJ_LAThum object, as it is the object at which the muscles are "inserted" when the pose doesn't have any issue.

I read in the documentation about the wrap points and shapes, but I really don't understand what I need to adjust in order to get around this issue.

Can someone help me, I appreciate any suggestions.
