All mac users I know experience the same problem: the pointer does not coincide with the intersection of the axes in the individual 2D representations. However, this happens (at least in my case) only using the native screen.
How can I solve it?

Hello,
This is a known issue that has been discussed in this Forum, in a SimVascular GitHub Issue (https://github.com/SimVascular/SimVascular/issues/999) and in the SimTK SimVascular release notes.
Note that the EasyRes app is no longer available but there is an app called BetterDisplay (https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisp ... me-ov-file) that can now be used to fix this problem.
Cheers,
Dave

Thanks Dave,
what resolution should I set in the virtual screen to bypass the problem? I tried 1920X1080, which is the resolution of the monitor I worked on without any problems yesterday, but nothing.
Also, I read that about a year ago you were working on an update that would solve the problem - maybe I downloaded an old version?
Sincerely,
Italo

Hi Italo,

I select the BetterDisplay High Resolution (HiDPI) menu item, this works on my MacBookd Pro Ventura M2. Note that using an external display works correctly.
Also, I read that about a year ago you were working on an update that would solve the problem - maybe I downloaded an old version?
I am now back to rewriting how SV uses the 12 external software packages (MITK, ITKm VTK, Qt, ...) it depends on. I hope to create new SV installers by the end of the year.
Cheers,
Dave

First of all, thank you!
Unfortunately, I couldn't solve it, but I will try tomorrow morning more calmly.
From external screen it works perfectly, however most of my colleagues do not have an external screen and as a result SimVascular is unusable from mac.
I will update you it tomorrow morning (Italian time) and hope to solve it.
Thank you for your time and have a great afternoon!

Hello,
Selecting the BetterDisplay High Resolution (HiDPI) menu item didn't work? What MacOS hardware are you using and which SV version?
I'm on MacOS Ventura using SV 2023-05-23 and the cursor positions correctly.
Cheers,
Dave

I apologize for being unclear. I didn't really understand how to use BetterDisplay, so I can't solve it. I created a new virtual display but I can't find the item High Resolution (HiDPI)
I use SimVascular version 2023.05.23 on Mac OS sequoia
