ground force file

Hello
in inverse dynamic problem, the ground force file is one of the input, such as (subject01_walk1_grf.xml).
how this file is created in opensim?

To my knowledge, you don’t have to create the xml file. You can do all the necessary steps through the GUI. For example for the static optimization in the “Actuators and External Loads” you tick the “External Loads” and then you can select the files with the external force, define where the force acts, and etc. In the end you can save these settings and thus the .xml file will be created for the further use.
