Synchonized kinetics and kinematics

Post by Poramet Hemarachatanon » Wed Dec 26, 2012 11:11 pm

I have a question when the Opensim run inverse dynamics. How to compute a difference frequency when system added ground reaction force, ( example data; kinematics 1000 Hz and GRF 1200 Hz.)
Please help to more understand.

Thank you verry much.

Hi,

OpenSim performs splining of the grf data (and you can apply filtering as well if needed) and then it samples the splined data during simulation so you shouldn't worry about the difference in frequency between kinematics and kinetics.

Hope this helps,
